Our Story

Farm Raised Beef | Highland Cow Agritourism

From Dairy Roots to Today’s Farm

Rooted in faith and family tradition, Country Corners Farm has been part of the Holland, Michigan landscape since 1973. What began as a dairy operation has grown and changed hands of responsibility over the decades, evolving into the beef cattle and cash crop farm it is today — and, most recently, into a home for two mini Highland cows, Penny and Pepper. Through it all, we’ve stayed true to the same land and values that started it all.

How Penny & Pepper Joined the Family

On March 14, 2026 — the anniversary of their very first date back in 1997 — Tim and Michelle drove to Illinois and came home with Penny and Pepper, two Miniature Highland cows born January 12, 2026. What started as a running joke about getting a Highland cow turned into the start of a whole new side of the farm.

Today, Penny and Pepper are the heart of our Highland Cow Experiences — from Cow Cuddle Sessions at the farm to Off-Site Visits that bring them to you.

The Farm Today

Alongside the Highland cow experiences, Country Corners Farm continues to raise beef cattle and grow cash crops on the same land the family has worked for over 50 years. Visit our Beef page to learn more about how we raise our cattle, or head to Contact to ask us anything.
